The Taxing Jurisdiction Advisory Committee (TJAC) was established in 2007 to provide a forum for ongoing dialogue between representative taxing jurisdictions and BC Assessment (BCA).
Ongoing communication with TJAC members assures that BCA is aware of customers' specific concerns and requirements for the information products and services provided to them by BCA.
TJAC members represent a cross-section of taxing jurisdictions including municipal jurisdictions, regional districts and the Surveyor of Taxes, Property Taxation Branch. Also on the committee are several members of the BCA management team including the VP, Business and Customer Services, a regional assessor and the Director, Customer Solutions.
